“Very quiet peaceful weekend. Sat by a fire,and enjoyed listening to the waterfall.”

“House was cute and neatly appointed, including a special treat from the host! Dog (and cat) bowls and bed and even two long dog tie out cables in the back. Our pup was in heaven! Bridget was super communicative and friendly - this place is top on our list next time we visit family in Ithaca!”

“All the amenities of home and amazing views- access to beautiful Cayuga Lake. Our boys enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Adults enjoyed the fire pit right next to the water at night. We all LOVED IT!!!”

“Granddaughter graduated from Cornell University and rooms in Ithaca were extremely overpriced and we were so happy to find Moon cottage! Our only “Wish for” was a step to get onto the porch. Eshay is a delightful host! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Mallard Cottage. A great base to explore the eastern Finger Lakes and Ithaca. Incredibly close to Robert H Treman park and it's gorgeous waterfalls. Beautiful, well maintained property with gorgeous flowers and plenty of space for our dog to run around and play. He had the best vacation of his life. “The moment I spied the inviting bronze fox door knocker on the orange door, I knew Michelle has created a unique space in which to unwind & be. I loved the beautiful wood countertop, the warm octagonal ceiling, the vintage clawtooth tub, the life affirming greenhouse window, Matisse's "Joy of Life" on the wall, the colorful birds on the curtains, & the natural light that abounds through windows and/or doors on 6 sides of the Octagon. “We had a fabulous time at this property. Jeff, the host, was close by if we had a question (or to share some breakfast with him!). The home was comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. It was a great location for what we had planned.....hiking waterfalls in the area. It was close to grocery stores in Ithaca, and shopping too. When, and if, we are back in the area, we will definitely book again with Jeff!! Thank you Jeff!!! ”

“It's clear that this is a cherished and well-maintained property! The host was warm, friendly and welcoming; without her recommendations, we would've missed some of the most beautiful sights to see in Ithaca! Treman park nearby is a must-see.The yurt was super comfortable, and we felt lucky to be a small part of its history. There is a nature reserve behind the property, a beautiful gorge within walking distance. Highly recommend this stay, for anyone wanting a special experience in Ithaca!”

“We rented the place for a mini reunion for 12 Cornell grads from the 90’sThe place is well equipped with plenty of bedrooms, a large deck and living space to accommodate everyone in the group. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks and the fire pit at night. The outdoor flat top grill was great for cooking meals for the group. Location 15 min away from Ithaca Commons and Cornell was ideal. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent the place again and is ideal for both adults and families. ”

“Wonderful retreat on the shore of Lake Cayuga! Great porch with a gorgeous view and a large fire-pit for s'mores! Wish we'd had longer to make use of pingpong table, cornhole and dock/kayaks (though we were surprised by the strength of the the lake current!) The property is serene and peaceful -- lots of birdsong and deer-- just a bit remote from shopping (beyond a dollar store).”

Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the trails, fields, and ponds on the property and we enjoyed watching the deer and fox in the morning. The hosts were very warm, welcoming, and helpful.
