“The cottage was a comfortable space with spectacular views. We saw eagles, osprey, minke whales, seals (both harbour and grey types) as well as dozens of songbirds, etc right from the back deck and property. We even got to see a cruise ship pass by the house as it left port in Maine. The owner is beyond responsive. There was an issue with the back door lock and within hours it was fixed! “We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. While the cabin hasnt been updated recently it is clean and comfortable. The kids loved the bunkbeds, tire swing and hammock. We all enjoyed the screened porched and smores around the fire pit. “If you want peace and quiet, along with an over the top spectacular view, this is the perfect place! So enjoyable to sit back and watch the tide move in and out, observe eagles and gulls and keep an eye out for porpoises, whales, and otters. The cottage is comfortable, and full of interesting collectables, art and books about the region. Dennis was a fantastic host - very helpful and responsive to any question or need.
