“Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne.……

“Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon in top Zustand. Das Frühstück wurde an einem Morgen alternativ in der angrenzenden Bäckerei angeboten und war sehr umfangreich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.”

“Location is perfect. Close to every famous points. Room is clean and comfortable. Service is good. The only down side is the breakfast. But providing coffee , tea and water at looby is preety good.”

“This was a lovely hotel in an area that we wanted to explore. The service, room and restaurant were all fantastic. The breakfast was nice. We enjoyed being able to go outside and walk along the Rhine, and enjoy the view of the Chateau, vineyards and area. Parking was very easy and safe. Only complaint is that some of the switches were hard to figure out, esp in the bathroom… maybe when the staff shows you the room, make sure to inquire! ”

“The proprietor is also the chef and a world class one. He was extremely accommodating in getting us into our rooms early. The evening three course menu was so good that we took the beef for our lunch when we left. Great stay”

“When we were there (June 2025) reception opened at 1600 and was off-site. You had to phone a number to get a key safe code to obtain your room key. When phoning, you hear a recorded message in German. Sadly, we could not understand the message so had to rely on the restaurant staff (who were on site) to help us connect to reception. German speakers would have no problem but non-Germans may have a problem. Another issue we had is that the hotel states it has an EV charging point - it does……

“Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Die Lage mitten im Wald ist ruhig und schön, perfekt für eine entspannte Auszeit. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich, und das Personal war freundlich. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei und es war sehr hundefreundlich. Praktisch war der Snackautomat, an dem man jederzeit Snacks und Getränke bekommen konnte. Der Biergarten hat uns auch gut gefallen: Man kann dort gut essen und abends gemütlich drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Für einen……
