“Winchelsea is a fascinating historic place. The ancient New Inn is a central part of it. For a night's stay it's fine: our room was comfortable enough and had a good view. Breakfast and supper offered average pub fare. What the New Inn really needs is fresh investment: the public areas are tired and e.g. our TV/ remote was worn out.”

“Junior Suite was comfortable and spacious with a newly refurbished bathroom (shower over bath). There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, nice soft towels, robes in the fitted wardrobe, sofa bed made up as a bed in the adjoining lounge when we arrived. The leisure facilities are quite old but we knew this when we booked. The water in the jacuzzi was nice and hot and the pool a good size. Amy in the Beauty Rooms did a great Swedish massage and was very welcoming and friendly. We……

“Great hotel right on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food at the restaurant was great (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner over 2 days). Small spa area which was a nice treat after a days cycling! Our room was on the small side but it was perfectly fine for a short stay (and the bathroom was big!) Would recommend! ”

“This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym.
