As soon as I walked into the room I was immediately confronted by management that they smelled smoke. I offered to let them come in but he assumed that I was smoking and stated that he does not care what I do outside the hotel but don’t smoke in the room. I literally just walked in the room and I was embarrassed because my guest was the house chef who was there to do a catering on there on Sunday.

Older room but with plenty of charm. Pool area looks clean and nice. Staff was very helpful. Elevator situation is a bit odd if you have bad knees or require wheelchair accessibility. You'll have to leave the building and walk around to another set of side doors in order to access the elevator. Other than that, I'd stay there again

We were told our room was on the second floor. While heading to the elevator, the desk attendants told my family and me that our room was in the opposite direction, which was fine until we got to a set of stairs with our luggage. It would have been much more convenient and safer if the steps were replaced with a ramp. Guest, steps and luggage is a recipe for a hazardous situation. Hopefully someone will listen and make this change.

Overall it’s a nice place to stay. Very close to downtown, has a pool, breakfast was good. Fitness center needs a desperate upgrade/maintenance. Treadmills don’t work, functional trainer pulley’s are busted. Other than that, it is a great choice for the price.

We had a wonderful stay as usual. There is one item for feedback purposes and that is the breakfast offering. What you are currently serving is not worth the price even if it’s all-you-can-eat. The sausages were overly salty, the eggs severely lacked seasoning(extremely watery, even for powdered eggs) and the bar lacked additional low-carb/ healthier options. If this portion of your P&L has little wiggle room, keep the same price point and add healthier options. More attention to detail will cure the taste concerns.
