We enjoyed breakfast in the screen room, looking over the dock and watching the heron. The lake is very peaceful, making for great kayaking and paddle boarding as well as cruising on the pontoon boat. Great sunset views. “Summer was the most amazing place. It is so charming. It has everything you could want. A cool restaurant, a General Store, beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, a gym, two pools and a hot tub. It is also complete with a beach are and a large pond/lake that has canoe and kayaks available. Another perk is the gated community. “Loved the caboose! Had so much fun with my family! Plenty of space. Loved that it had full kitchen, AC and bathroom all inside. Wished we stayed longer. Loved the sitting spaces and the history of the caboose from the past. The location was tucked away and quiet and loved the views of the railroad. Would have been more ideal in another section of Palmer but makes sense it was near the Steaming Tender. ”
