“Beautiful area”

“Booking, communication and location were great. The unit itself was fine, seemed well used. Negatives were there was no place to put wet boots (towel/rug), most people have snowy boots staying here this time of year. Other thing was the kitchen floor had broken pieces of glass and was not very clean. ”

“Room was near and clean, we didn’t have a lake view but really enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying our coffee and the fresh air”

“The location of this property is amazing if you want easy access to Donner Lake. There is not a kitchen in the property, so just plan acordingly.”

“Immaculate studio. Up to date kitchen. Clean, quiet, well located, convenient!”

“Not staying again”

“Loved the location and peacefulness of the room and property. I truly fell in love with Donner Lake, and I will definitely stay here again! We had everything we needed there!”

“Very clean and right on Donner Lake. Parking is very easy. Overall, excellent.”

“Very conveniently located for visiting Truckee and for short hikes on the PCT.”

“Room was nice and comfy. Although we were here in the hottest days of the century, the room has no air conditioning. Probably not needed for most days of the year. And, we tolerated it quite well. Just a note: there is no lake view of this unit. That’s fine with us as we’re out doing things most of the day and the unit is just a place to crash.”

“Reasonable price for what you get with this unit”

“This was our first stay at Donner Lake Village, and it exceeded our expectations. The location immediately on Donner Lake is beautiful. Our second-floor unit provided a wonderful view of the lake. We had easy access to a private beach for the property along with access to two separate docks that allowed us to sit over the water. The property is in walking distance to a restaurant and ice cream shop as well as short drive from many dining options in Truckee. On site parking was abundant and...

“Great spot-clean, comfortable, convenient.”

“Only issue was miscommunication about allowing us to have our own grill on the property. No rules listed anywhere either to confirm.”

“My room had a great view and on the lake boats to rent”

“The room was in a good condition. It had ample sheets and towels. The only thing I felt not good was shower gel/body wash. they didn't provide one. ”

“The listing is misleading. The "beach" is a very small area that drops off quickly behind the boat docks. The room is on the ground floor but has a large step up into the bathroom which was a problem for members in our group with mobility issues. When I brought this to the front desks attention, I was told we could check out but would not be refunded.”

“Everything was great. Amazing location a views of the lake were incredible.”
