“We would definitely stay at the Loopy Shrew again. Great value for money. Our room and bathroom were very clean, quiet and comfortable. We heard nothing from the pub below. The location is great, with very short walks to beautiful areas of town. There was a lovely array of breakfast choices included for free with the room charge; we had vegetarian eggs Benedict, coffee/tea & juice. “We had a super weekend, very comfortable, beautifully kept and superb food. Staff and management were very friendly and obviously loved their 'Modern Coaching Inn' Whilst we didn't have any serious complaints, I would suggest when serving a delightful cheese board, a very hot carrot chutney is not a good accompaniment since all the cheeses tasted the same after a blast of chilli!”
