“Parking was a nightmare but soon sorted out. Service was above and beyond, owner driving around until he found a fish and chip shop open and bringing us back a lovely meal. Super breakfast with lots of choice.”

“Well positioned for access to all parts of York. The owners ensure that the guests are welcome, comfortable and well provided for Any issues? Access to parking is a little tight for larger vehicles but ample and secure. Otherwise it is as close to perfection as one could expect. ”

“The property was excellently situated just around the corner from the Minster. The rooms are well presented with everything you need and staff are very helpful. The pub down stairs is well stocked and a nice environment to be in. Jane was amazing and very generous on our arrival to take our bags in early so we could make the most of our time in York. “It's a beautiful, cozy and comfortable home with nice common areas (living room with TV and nicely equiped kitchen with stove oven and fridge. We can also the washer and dryer, if needed. Everything was just excellent. It's too bad that we just stayed one night. Only one thing to bear in mind is to have oatmeal or wheat bread for breakfast when travelling with a diabetic person.”
