The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is always good there, especially for a business traveler like me who needs to power down the protein before a long day of work.
But the leather furniture was shabby and disgusting. The lounging chair and desk chair had leather peeling off them. I had to set the time on the clock myself, it wasn't done before I checked in. And what bothers me even more is that I reviewed those things – the furniture and the clock – when I had stayed there two months earlier, and nothing changed. Hotel owners and managers shouldn't provide paying customers with furniture that they'd probably be embarrassed to have in their own homes. And how hard is it to set a clock? That shouldn't be left for the guests to do; we're tired from traveling and working.
Also, on this particular stay one of the curtains in the room had a hole in it; I don't know if it was from wear or maybe moths, but that looked shabby. And the shower had a drip, drip, drip that was annoying.
