Moose, coyotes, lynx, bear, porcupine, wolves and snowshoe hare transit this property regularly. The meadow off the deck is an unofficial animal observation post.

Full disclosure! This property is currently undergoing a full top to bottom remodel after being gutted and rebuilt with 1970’s bones and now a rustic modern 2026 face and feel. As of the end of April, we are mostly done and plan to be completely done by the end of May or early June, but want to list it early to give summer travelers a chance to book - plus we have had a few people already interested who intend to book once the listing is live. Despite planning to be done in May, we're allowing a 4 week buffer in case there are any delays. We will probably will open up June dates as we get into mid May. If you have any concerns about this being legit or not, check out our other two listings.. this is number 3 for us and will be the best of the 3. Our 175+ 5 star reviews will hopefully give you confidence in booking this amazing house. Once we get the updated photos we anticipate it being in high demand. The living room and kitchen are essentially done except a little trim and furniture, and the bathrooms just need their shower/sink/toilet hardware installed which happens in a few days. We will update room photos as rooms come online and finishing touches/furniture are applied. The views are fantastic, we have some great furniture on its way - the amazing handcrafted Amish-crafted couch arrived just last week and is in place, the copper soaking tub is calling your name, and we’ll be putting out some sweet deck furniture in a few weeks as things warm up.
