“There was some type of issue where I didn’t receive my check in instructions and I had to spend an hour or so trying to find out this information. Everyone at Expedia and VRBO was helpful and once the host was involved, she was as well.
I typically receive check-in instructions the day prior or morning of check in by email or text.
This was not the case here and unsure why it didn’t happen. Even after I spoke to host, VRBO said the instructions were in my inbox but I could not see them, only……

“Overall I initially had a pretty good impression of the hotel and enjoyed the stay at first. However, around 1 AM, I found a cockroach in the kitchen eating my snacks, and then found more cockroaches near the bedroom door, in the bathroom, by the kitchen sink, and in the closet.
Unfortunately this made me very uncomfortable and concerned about the cleanliness of the room. Since there was no front desk available at that hour, there was no way to get immediate help or change rooms. After that it……

“The property was wonderful, clean, quiet, meticulously kept property, wonderful host, close to everything, ice cold air and comfortable bed. Very cozy and quiet. Stayed a month to help my dad 5 miles away. You need your own space away from others to regenerate your energy after working all day renovating plus working remotely. The weather was hot n humid as expected and rain sometimes daily a 1 hour but thats expected. Will be back again in Nov and Dec 2026”

“Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage!
The place was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our time away. I felt safe throughout the stay, and the location was excellent, with cafés and restaurants within walking distance.
The host was wonderful (very easy to communicate back and forth with, even left an itinerary with recommendations, LOVEDDD THATTT) and truly, appreciated the opportunity to stay here. Would absolutely recommend this……

“Room was well kept. The location was perfect for our trip. The lake was nice to sit and have a cup of coffee in the mornings. Whenever I had a question, the host responded quickly. The pool and pool area was nice, although we did not use it. There was a problem with the air conditioning one evening, but the host was able to repair it the next morning. It may need some additional maintenance. The kitchenette has no stove, but there was a toaster, toaster oven, electric skillet, electric stove top……

“Great location in downtown Palm Harbor. Walking distance to all the restaurants and night hotspots. Very roomy and secluded off the main drag. Parking is very convenient. Air conditioning is epic! Nice to come back to after a hot afternoon strolling the area. Unit is in a historic Florida building. You get the charm of old Florida but of course with history comes vintage condition. Floors and windows are "authentic" rather than mechanically perfect, but we thought it added to the……
