“In a word - PERFECT. Our host was just wonderful and made us feel very welcome and at ease. The accommodations were spectacular, very spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The location is fantastic - only a very short drive from the many attractions, shops, and restaurants in Lourmarin, Vaugines, and Cucuron. Literally in the heart of Provence, with perfect serenity of the countryside - and yet so close to many towns and villages”

However, future guests should be aware that this rental is not fully for guests- you will actually be in two bedrooms in the basement of this family's house while they are also living there, and the gorgeous pool and patio in the pictures is in front of their living room. The listing even says "rooms open to patios", and this could not be further from the case. We were……

“My wife and I stayed here for 10 wonderful days over Christmas. The central location is simply amazing. We were just steps away from wonderful bakeries, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés of all kinds. Bus and train statins are just a few minutes away on foot. The flat is cozy and comfortable - we loved it. We hope to stay here again next time we visit Provence. ”

“Pros: Das Häuschen befindet sich auf dem Grundstück der Eigentümer. Der große Pool ist sehr gepflegt und es gibt viele schöne Pflanzen und gemütlichiche Plätze im Garten. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und sorgen stets für alles, was man benötigt. Das Häuschen ist modern, geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet, einschließlich der Terrasse.
