“The location is close to Downtown, Groningen. The room style is quite old and the furniture is also quite old. There was only one window facing the chimney. When the window is open, flies often got in. No lift nor air conditioning. While the temperature was up to over 26, we could only rely on a noisy electric fan. The merits about the room were that the bathroom was spacious and cozy and breakfast was great. ”

“Prima gelegen hotel. Zeer gedateerde kamer. Opvallend was dat er geen shampoo aanwezig was in de douche, uitsluitend handzeep. Het was onmogelijk te douchen zonder aan de kraan te komen met je rug, met als gevolg dat de kraan soms overging naar een andere (hete) temperatuur. Ontspannen douchen was er dus niet bij.”

“This hotel is close to the main market square. There is also a supermarket just opposite to the hotel. Everything is good except that it is a really small room. It is hard to open a big suitcase.”

“Mooi hotel op loopafstand van het centrum, maar toch heel rustig. De ontvangst was fantastisch, heel aardige mensen. De sfeer was het hotel was goed. De kamer had wel iets netter gekund, er lagen hier en daar wat haren en op de muur naast het bed leek iets geknoeid te zijn, wat wellicht alleen wat verf weg had kunnen krijgen. Al met al een fijne ervaring en ik zou het zeker aanraden. ”

“We had a memorable stay at the Hotel Prisenhof. Centrally located in the heart of Gronigen, there were numerous shops, restaurants and points of interest all within walking distance. Our room was on the upper floor of what we learned was previously a monastery. It had a lovely view of the garden and was very spacious, although we wished it had more natural light. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. If you are driving, a tip is to park overnight at the Forum……
