The excellent craftsmanship and creativity is evident throughout. Josef and Brigitte were perfect hosts. Every morning Brigitte would bring a delightful homemade breakfast basket, including homemade cakes, that we were able to order the day before. It is a magical place. ”

“Pros: Alles in einem war das Chalet Perfekt! Die Aussicht, die Lage und vorallem die Ruhe rundet die super Ausstattung der Chalet‘s ab. Cons: Da der Preis sich doch im oberen Segment ansiedelt, hätten wir wenigstens etwas an Standard Lebensmittel die zur Verfügung gestellt werden erwartet. Damit meinen wir eine kleine Packung Kaffepulver, etwas Öl und Salz/Pfeffer. Eventuell ein kleiner Willkommensgruß in form einer günstigen Flasche Wein würden die Ankunft noch besser machen!”

The host family could not have been more gracious or more helpful with helping to plan our daily hiking excursions with expert tips. The exquisitely renovated barn was a luxury to wake in and come home to in the afternoons and the views are unmatchable. The photos on VRBO are attractive and accurate, no doubt, but they can’t even fully demonstrate the beauty of the barn, both inside……
