“My stay hosted by Samantha was just perfect for what I was looking for a short weekend getaway with my dogs. The place is welcoming and warming as soon as you step in. Very cozy place perfect for family gathering. House was a perfect heaven for dogs to run around in the backyard lakefront. The views were absolutely stunning! The house is located literally right in front of the lake and the sunset is something that I cannot forget. It was so beautiful! Since it was HOA community, we had to show……

“Great location to explore Jim Thorpe and Hickory Run State Park (which is right down the street!). Well-appointed cabin with big yard/deck to explore - dogs loved it! We had plenty of rooms for 4 adults. Exactly as pictured. House is in a very quiet neighborhood with a lovely lake and amenities. We did not have time to use the amenities, but the lake view was very nice! If traveling with pets, check out nearby Boulder Tavern - we had a nice meal on the patio with the pups. Overall great pet……

“If you enjoy arriving at your rental and walking inside at check-in time, this place is not for you. We arrived at the guard station at arranged check-in time and told we were not on the guest list. The guard directed us to the HOA welcome center. After waiting in a long line there, we we were told this property is not approved for short-term rentals. We tried to contact the property manager, but no answer. So we got in line again and begged the HOA people to help us. They finally reached the……

“The appearance of the house is good but for 6 people it is very small. Some things to improve among them the cleanliness, the air conditioning leaked water, the plug in a room where there was a TV did not work”

Positives: Lovely home, great location, nice amenities (grill, deck, appliances) Minor Opportunities: AC (well communicated before), no permit access to Lake Naomi amenities (well communicated before), and a first floor rug that shed like the dickens (tough if you have kiddos running around).”
