“A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. “Had a great stay in Castle Hill at this bach. We traveled with a group of eight and we had plenty of living space and amenities for our group. Clean, modern house with good heating system and great indoor-outdoor flow. Close to all the community amenities in the village too. Highly recommended”
