“Peaceful, beautiful scenery and homely. The hosts were friendly and helpful to share about transport and food options, and answered my questions when I had difficulty navigating Furano (my first time in Hokkaido). As a solo traveler without a car, I am grateful that they picked me up on my first day and sent me to the bus stop on my last day. House is very comfortable and spacious. Thanks Penguin and Jane for being such great hosts!”

“Rooms were clean with amenities. Service staff (Dorothy) is friendly and helped recommend dining places and things to do around Furano. It’s convenient if you have a car and parking was not an issue as there’s a large parking area about 3-5 mins away by foot if you can’t parked at the smaller carpark beside the hotel. It’s just around a ski slope but we didn’t make use of that since we went in summer.”
