“The property location was perfect. With the beach just outside our door and a wonderful view, it was what I needed to unwind. Two things stand out as being negative. First, the water inside was hard to get used to. It had an awful taste and bad smell. Had to brush my teeth using bottle water. Second was the lighting in the entire cabin. Every light seemed to be about 40 watts. It was almost impossible to read after the sun went down. The positive things were definitely the cost, the location,……

“The property was perfect! Checkin was flawless. We used the cabin as fish camp and it was everything we needed and more. The PM was very helpful, and for the price it is a good value. Highly recommend. ”

“Needed an overnight prior to riding the Michigan C2C gravel grinder that left out of Au Gres Marina next morning. We were only on property for a few hours before walking to the pier area, grabbing dinner, getting our bikes and gear setup and then trying to sleep before 4:15am wakeup to get all loaded into car and down to start line in Au Gres by 5:30. The place was perfect and we could see using this if we wanted to spend extended weekend in area or longer. Nice beds, each room with its own……

Matthew was very accommodating offering us early check in and late check out. So nice. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. ”

“Views were beautiful! The beach area was pretty nice minus all the bugs. They are not mayflies, the entire beach is filled with piles of bugs on the sand, and dozens land on you the entire time you sit there trying to relax. The webs on the outside of cabins were insane which lead to dozens of HUGE black spiders that come out as soon as the sun goes down. Very old rustic cabin, had what you needed but extremely old and needs some updating.”

“We stayed here for 2 nights. It was well balanced between rustic and modern. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the fans. I didn't cook, but it looked stocked. A fun special touch was coffee from a local business in town. I was pleasantly surprised by a tea kettle with an assortment of teas. The enclosed front porch was perfect for reading a book and the couches were cozy. I'd stay here again.”

“I’m very disappointed with this stay and feel it’s important to share my experience for future guests.While early check-in was offered, the access code was not provided at that time, causing unnecessary confusion. Once I did receive the code, I was informed that the hot water “may not be working,” which is a major concern for any stay.Upon arrival, the property was not thoroughly cleaned. There was visible rust in the toilet, as well as sand and dirt in the shower. Additionally, the kitchen sink……
