“Great staff, very helpful and friendly”

“Very clean hotel and attentive staff. Continental breakfast was excellent. Had problem with our tv remote and they took care of it asap. Will definitely stay here again.”

“When we got to our room it was dirty not clean food still in the fridge from whoever stayed last. They did move us to another room. I’m sorry but i couldn’t stay there again.”

“The location of the hotel is the best thing the hotel has going for it. However, the facility is worn out and has not been maintained. Carpet is worn out and dirty. Rooms are dark, furnishings are worn and dated, no attention to details (back on TV remote missing). WiFi inconsistent and addressing the issue not possible until the next day. Landscaping overgrown making walking to facilities a challenge. Sealed double pane windows have lost seals and are frosted over. I hope the owners will……

“I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world and the Horton is my 3rd favorite! The staff members were all extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. The interior design is exquisite, they skimmed on nothing. They are so attentive to the details too, like coffee and snack stations on the upper floors. The rooftop area is really beautiful with spectacular views. Love the Horton!!”

“Nice place to stay”

“We might have just come during a time when they were understaffed, but the day we checked out it was impossible to find a single employee to help us. We didn't need the breakfast but wanted a cup of coffee before we headed out and had some other questions and we went to the front desk multiple times, even walked into the dining room, and never saw an employee. There was a sign on the table where they clearly usually have coffee but it was never actually there. Overall it was an easy place to……

“Clean room. We stayed in a "cabin", which has 4 apartments in it. Older property. Could use updating. Very clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Grounds were lovely.”
