“This place is awesome. My wife and I are avid science fans. She's a Biologist and I'm an avid amateur astronomer. This property was PERFECT for stargazing by night and animal spotting during the day. The unique microbiomes of the areas surrounding the property were so cool... you can really see how the ridgeline biomes differ from the biomes in the deep canyons winding down towards the Frio watershed.All of the appointments in the cabin worked as advertised. We brought a bluetooth speaker……

“Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very……

“I loved the location. It was quiet and relaxing. The only thing that i didn't like was that there was only one TV and the wifi was the greatest. The kids and i loved our stay. ”

“The host was super attentive and answered all of my questions. The entire cabin was clean and tidy. The kitchen was great and allowed me to cook full meals. The view of the lake was a lovely especially while sitting in rocking chairs. I would definitely stay here again. ”
