“I would absolutely recommend this gorgeous beachfront house, it had everything we could have possibly needed for a family group ranging from 2 years to 82 years. We swam in the crystal clear sea every single day and had lovely walks along the sea front. Sitting in the lounge, dining area with direct views out over the sea was incredible. Kevin was extremely helpful, and answered all of my questions very promptly. We will be back im sure! ”

“Location was perfect, peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable, with everything we needed for a great stay.Our host Ally was incredibly helpful and welcoming and making sure we felt right at home. She not only bought us the cheaper ferry tickets but also managed to change the timings of our trip at a very short notice on our request.she also provided us with a variety of breakfast items.It really made a difference to our trip.We would definitely……

“No ventilation, the apartment has no WINDOWS, accept for 2 roof lights which were too high to reach. The property was booked for 3 people, I rang and confirmed but regardless there was no linen or pillows for the 3rd person.”

“We stayed at Byecross as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 9 to 77. Fabulous stay in a fabulous property with fabulous hosts. The Aga was fine to use and actually makes the best toast! If you are planning to stay at Byecross I would recommend doing a bit of research on how to use an Aga before arriving, and also plan to spend at least a couple of days at the property without going out anywhere as there really is so much to do and explore just on the property grounds and the surrounding area……

“Host changed the address of the property an hour before check in (5 hours into our travel to the location). The amended property had black mould poorly covered by grouting, no shower screen so water went everywhere, and general "DIY landlord" decorating, with damage to many of the walls being slap dash filled and painted. There was also a general sewage smell across the property but that may have just been the area / location. ”
