The Yak & Yeti was perfect for us: great location - only a short walk over the bridge into town. We had the most amazing breakfast in the morning - exactly what we needed after a late night out!”

“The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . ”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“A great quite deceivingly large property with some great old features. The standard of the fixtures and fittings are very high and the brownies on arrival were amazing. Much Wenlock is a li ely setting with pmenty of shops, cafe's and pubs.”

“Straight forward instructions of how to check in, the staff were friendly and helpful of how to access the hotel room and out the building. Lovely little room with a lovely window view outside, spotless with some tea and coffee treats. Convenient in the middle of town too. Will be returning again ! ”

“I stayed for two nights in the lovely Darwin room. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Chosen from a menu and freshly made to order it was high quality and non greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Loopy Shrew is in the heart of charming Shrewsbury and just a short ten minute walk from the station so easily accessed from……

“We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”
