"Above expectations. Newly renovated rooms with an Adirondack decor. Kitchen stocked with cooking tools and utensils, it was easy to make a quick simple meal. Quiet, slept comfortably. Staff very friendly and helpful. Complementary coffee. Would stay again. Good value. Nice river view."
Cozy cabin in Brasher Falls, NY

"Property was right on the river as advertised, plenty of room for 2. The shower was a little tight as expected for a cabin. We did have to use bottled water to brush our teeth due to the smell of the well water, but it wouldn't deter me from staying here again. Overall a good experience."

"Large space, ideal for groups. This was just for me and my mom, so it was overkill, but it was a comfortable stay anyway. It was nice getting to sleep in separate rooms. The kitchen has every appliance you could ever ask for. My mom was very happy for a glass of wine after a long drive. I appreciated a couple pieces of chocolate. The board games in the living room were a thoughtful touch. The heater situation was a bit odd (one big heater in the dining room, cold everywhere else?), and we expected to be cold in the night but we actually slept toasty. The decorative woodsy lightswitch plates were cool, although the rest of the decor was rather bland. The only painting on the wall was a strange one of a woman apparently straining on a toilet ??? above the downstairs toilet. We used the upstairs bathroom. I found the shower controls a bit confusing, but otherwise it was a comfy bathroom. Overall it was a serviceable, quiet, comfortable place to stay, and the host was super friendly and helpful. For everything you get, it's definitely worth the price."
