“This is the most interesting location we have stayed due to the age of the home and amount of property. It was like stepping back in time with modern amenities. We used this as our home base to visit Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. It worked out well. If looking to get away from the business and noise of the city, it would be a good spot to relax and enjoy the property.”

“Very good standard of accommodation. Very comfortable beds, bright and airy lounge area with high windows. Very rural location. Quiet but no pubs/restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend for a large group (8 adults). ”

“Centrally located in the village of Kippen views from lounge were superb. Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Kippen is a great village has a Mini Supermarket and two pubs both serving good food. If you are visiting the Homeland as we were Kippen is a great location for motorway to Glasgow and Edinburgh and Fife. Our only criticism was the weather which Kippen or the cottage has no control over!”

“What a beautiful cottage, very impressed spotless & well equipped. Only issue was high back chair that was damaged with no note to say it had been noticed and or reported, we emailed Cottages.com but no reply ! Our dog loved the garden, Coorie by the sea for doggie breakfast. we will certainly return again soon & Thank you”

“Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips.”

“Awesome property- very well appointed, lots of beds and rooms, great outdoor space and hot tub. TV is a bit old, no ability to cast your phone or use apps like Netflix, but that is the only (minor) gripe i could find. Highly recommend this place for larger groups...”

“The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!”
