No way! The positives were, great bed, close to everything. Downsides were, dispensers were empty of hand soap and shower wash, toilet wouldn’t shut off after flushing, pubic hair in tub (gross) hand lotion was watered down. I can tell when a room has been cleaned well by looking behind bed, it wasn’t clean. Staff were friendly. We put sign outside door to “not disturb” yet the maids still knocked! Breakfast was your usual. Most likely won’t recommend. The hotel was so quaint for such a tourist place. The check in assistant was warm, welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean, and the bed was soooo comfortable. The pillows very fluffy. Given that we weren't expecting a five star hotel, we found the Carriage House to be a great value, safe, clean and well above average. The breakfast was good, warm and with a variety to suit everyone.. We thought the cleanliness of the room was wonderful. One thing that should be kept in mind, Expedia and Hotel.com both say that they have a continental breakfast. Their breakfast includes sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, toaster waffles, fruit, juices, coffee and other things.
