“We were in the area visiting family nearby and this was a wonderful place to spend the week! The hosts were so helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed the chats we had with them as we ran into each other! It was also a joy to see their friendly dogs around as we left our own back home. The orchard around the cabin was so peaceful and quiet; we saw pheasants, foxes, pigeons, and rabbits (and even an adder in the canal by The Boat Inn!). The bed was comfortable, probably more comfortable than……

“A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.”
