Bike path is right at end of street & you can bike anywhere on the Island. The beach is 5 minute walk down a path that is right next to the house. The path goes through a marsh land area & parts do get muddy after a rain. Be prepared to move quickly & swat the bugs/mosquitos on the path! Our entire group was covered in itchy bug bites. The views from the house are gorgeous, however you cannot actually see the beach. The house was absolutely stunning! Came to stay for a girls trip with 8 of us, easily had plenty of space, each room had its own bathroom and very spacious. The pathway straight out to the beach was a huge plus as well. The property managers were very attentive and helpful when we had one of the hoses leaking and fixed the issue very quickly. We had a fantastic stay at Dixie Sunrise. Loved the location - short walk to the beach (ocean view from 3rd floor) and less than a mile to restaurants, etc. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Lots of space. It was great to have use of the bikes in the garage to ride around the neighborhood in the late afternoon. Heated pool was phenomenal.
