“Lovely property, we parked up on arrival and didn’t get in the car until we left. Great walks on the doorstep. The garden was a real sun trap, and the hot tub was lovely after a long day walking. ”

“Bensly Cottage is a wonderfully cosy and characterful place to stay that is within easy walking distance for everything in Sherborne including the castles (and only a couple of minutes walk from the abbey). It makes it an ideal place to stay if you want to explore Sherborne on foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ”

“The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. “We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter.”

Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. ”
