“The hotel is close to the Mestre station, about a 5-10 min walk. There is a side entrance to platform 1 directly, you don’t need to go through the main entrance of the station, which is a bit further away.
There are a few hotels and restaurants nearby. Feel safe in the area at night.

We did not experience any problems. The views from our apartment were beautiful. I would recommend scheduling a private water taxi to avoid long walks. “Really friendly and caring staff. We had to book in a hurry as our daughter was taken ill suddenly. Fortunately, Alice and Federica were amazing and let us have early access when we needed to drop out bags and hurry to the hospital. The apartment was clean and spacious and had all that we needed - could have done with a few more cups - to self cater. The central location is excellent for the Rialto bridge, St Marks and only a few minutes walk to Fondamente Nova for the vaporetto to Murano……
