“★★★★☆ A beautiful and relaxing stay with a few disappointments We really enjoyed our stay at Rancho Río Perlas. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. The gardens were lovely and well maintained, especially considering the rainy season. The pools were a highlight — particularly the hot pool, which was clean, relaxing, and enjoyable. Our room was excellent: spacious, comfortable, and a lovely place to stay. There were a few areas where our expectations did not match the……

We would go out for the day and come back but you won’t want to come up and down that mountain at night so we had food with us. The thermal pools are a great suggestion. Loved it. ”

“Best location in Cartago for a hotel. Beds are not Marriott but they are clean and rooms are big enough for 3-4 people. The restaurant is good and not very expensive. The breakfast is nice and when they have the outdoor breakfast bar is probably my favorite experience of this hotel. If you’re going to be in Cartago, this is the best place to say. Very reasonably priced. Most of the staff is bilingual in Spanish and English.”
