“There are places you can stay and wonder if they are worth the cost. Rest assured this isn't one of them. Isolated, quiet and rural with a spectacular location in the North Wales countryside. Lack of light pollution makes the night sky amazing in the hot tub. The host is wonderful and the place is top drawer. If you want city service this isn't the place for you, if you want quiet rural bliss it is. Tiddles the cat frequently visits too, so if you like cats she is fab (thanks for the mouse……

“No check in information received, when I contacted the host was told ‘it’s not hard it’s left unlocked’ during our stay the host walked past us several times to feed the llamas head down, didn’t even say hello, text to ask how to use the gas fire during our stay and no response, was made to feel very unwelcome. Shame as the shepherds hurt is nice”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“The studio apartment was simply perfect. It was in an excellent location for all the activities around. Upon arrival we were met by the very lovely Carolyn. There was easy Parking within only about 20 m away from the apartment. The shower was excellent and very modern. The bed was great, and all the facilities in General worked well. The dogs were wonderful too. And the setting with the garden axis worked really well too. We loved our day and will be back!”
