“My husband, kids and I spent two nights at this quaint home with access to the Deschutes River. It was lovely and felt secluded, but still close to food. Went for a hike about 40 minutes away and enjoyed having campfires in the early evening both nights. Jeanne was very prompt with responding to my request and throughout the home there was thoughtful items there for our use and convenience. Thank you for a lovely stay! ”

“Pasamos un fin de semana increible en la Cabaña. Superó ampliamente nuestras expectativas. Quería agradecerte por tu hospitalidad y buena onda. Quedamos enamorados de la cabaña y de todo el predio. La cabaña es de una gran calidad, con hermosos detalles que hacen de la estadía una hermosa experiencia. El predio es muy grande, con mucha privacidad y vegetación. “A lovely, secluded property 1.5 hours from Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier. The hot tub, sauna, and location along the river all made for great relaxation after long hiking days. Fast Wi-Fi and a smart TV in the house. The neighborhood leading up to the property had some construction and messy houses, but it did not take away from the experience with the property.”

“My stay was quite exceptional! I loved the cozy atmosphere and hearing the rain drizzle at night through the open windows throughout the cabin. The area was small, but that was the point. The space was well-organized and quaint. I loved my 4-day stay here! ”

“This was our second stay here while visiting family in the area. Everything was as we anticipated. The cabin is located in a very peaceful setting and was very relaxing. Close to town for necessities. Debbie was very quick to respond to any comments or needs. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area! ”

“Adorable cabin, way bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, adorable retro kitchen, stocked with all the odds and ends you could need. My boyfriend love the double spa-like shower and the kind size bed up in the loft is super comfortable. The location was great, very private feeling and cozy inside.”

“We stayed for three nights and wished it was longer! This home sits right on the edge of Lake Alder. Occasional boats and fisherman come and go, and it is very quiet and peaceful. We brought paddle boards to use, and also used one of the ones supplied by the owner. The home worked well for three of us. The kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable, AC worked well during the hot days. Early mornings on the covered deck, enjoying the view and reading and a good cup of...

“Everything a family needs under a beautiful canopy of majestic Fir trees. The hot tub early in the morning then an afternoon of kayaking with the local bay seals and an evening of grilling and family dinners with seats for all the kids and baby is all you can ask for in life. This is the definition of Quiet time. We stayed here with 5 kids 10 and under and never felt crammed. ”

“This little house is so cozy and comfortable and the view was absolutely spectacular. The location is perfect. Just minutes from town for groceries and restaurants. Also close to multiple parks with great hiking trails. We were in town to visit my son who is stationed at JBLM. We went to the city for a baseball game and a couple of sightseeing tours but mostly we enjoyed hanging at this little oasis in the woods. Highly recommend!! ”
