“I liked the attention at checkin , very friendly staff. The hotel is very nice, clean, with very clean and comfortable bedrooms and pillows. The pool is very clean and large to spend a pleasant time. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, maybe a little more variety, or fruit would be great.”

“We stayed just one night at the Carriage Inn, but Yvonne and Jonathan made us feel so welcome it felt like much longer. The inn is charming, our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. A perfect quick getaway - we’ll be back!”

“The house was small and cozy and had everything we needed. The lication was oerfect for visiting nearby attractions uncluding historic Harpers Ferry. The pool was pristine and perfect for an afternoon swim!”

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

“Awesome weekend. Host was terrific and attentive to our needs. The host even dropped off fresh vegetables from his garden for us which were delicious. Deck is great for relaxing and watching the ducks swim in the river. ”

“Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.”

“I have come to this hotel twice November 2010 and novemeber 2011. And it has been excellent. People at counter are nice at any time,, day and night. breakfast is good and very clean the eating area. I willcome back again!!!”
