Broken items

Very clean and furnished nicely. We did have a nice stay. There are a few things I’d like the owner to be aware of in case they do not know. The AC filter is not being changed and the spare one is full of dust. We tried to vacuum it, but the vacuum cleaner does not work. The sofa bed frame is broken, the oven door is broken and the keurig water tank leaks. Thank you.

Not as advertised

We came with a group of 5, but the pull out sofa was broken so the house couldn’t accommodate all of us. The owner sent an air mattress after we complained but that wasn’t until late on day 2 so our first night we all didn’t sleep. The most frustrating part was we reached out ahead of time to confirm there was a pull out sofa and that it was comfortable. The shower curtain was also moldy upon check in. We complained and it was fixed, but felt overall it wasn’t cleaned if that was missed.

First time in Charleston

Our family stayed in Charleston for a couple nights on our way to Florida. It was our first time in Charleston, cool city with lots of history! Our place was walking distance to King street but it’s definitely a hike if you want to see the city on foot, which I recommend because traffic and parking is no joke.

Terrific house

Great Location, Needs Home Improvements

The best thing about this place was the location! Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance or just a quick Uber ride away. The host was very responsive and communicative, which we really appreciated.I would have given this place 5 stars, but there were a few issues that impacted our stay. The kitchen sink had extremely low water pressure, making it nearly impossible to drain properly. We had to use cups filled from the bathtub just to get it to drain, which made washing dishes a real challenge. Because of this, we ended up not cooking meals we had planned.The stove and oven were also finicky—the handle was broken, one of the burner knobs didn’t work, and the oven would sometimes turn off mid-cook. It was a bit of a guessing game to know whether things were fully functioning.The kitchen had the basics (forks, knives, plates, etc.), but we found a fork with dried food on it when we arrived. This made us question the cleanliness of the dishes, so we ran everything through the dishwasher before using them... I did communicate most of this to the host, and I hope they address these issues for future guests. That said, we still had a great time and would consider staying here again if these household fixes were made.

Mother Daughter weekend

Perfect location for a mother daughter weekend! This was our first visit to Charleston and we had a fantastic time. Plenty of space and comfortable stay for three people. House was clean and great location!

Charleston getaway

From start to finish, our experience was pleasurable. Our host was quick to communicate on booking and with any questions we had. The premises were clean and in great shape. Even though the weather didn't cooperate (Hurricane Helene), we still enjoyed our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Charleston Family Reunion

We were so happy w/our decision to stay here. We could walk everywhere and our cousins ended up staying right across the street which was so convenient. The AC cranking away was a major plus as it was H O T all week.

Cozy urban charmer

Clean and cozy apartment. It had everything we needed for our short stay. The location is convenient, the host are very welcoming, the decoration is elegant, parking is reserved, and doggos are invited too. Awesome experience.
