“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary stay in this historic stone cabin. The host was attentive, the setting was lovely and comfortable, and the cabin brought the area’s history to life. We would gladly return. The only thing I would draw attention to is that this is not a handicap accessible property. “The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...
