“We had a great time. The property was as described. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the deer. Only thing that would make it better would be a softer mattress in the main bedroom and maybe so pillows on the couch . But everything else was perfect. Hope to rent again in future. Thanks for a great weekend. ”

“We loved loved loved this house. Such a great location, close to the national park, which was what we wanted, and close to some places to eat and shop including a really good ice cream place. Would highly recommend this stay. Lots of room if you’re looking for a stay for four or five people. Very clean.”

“Well maintained home...very comfy and cozy. Quiet atmosphere with front porch to sit and the watch the deer. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. Pet friendly. We will definitely return!”

“This is a charming house with tons of amenities. We loved our stay. It was a great home base for our WV adventures, located near many outdoor activities but in a calm, peaceful spot. We loved the firepit, the grills, and the board games (Clue forever!). William was wonderful to work with, very responsive. All the stars!”

“The house was older but lovely and very clean with lots of personal touches and suggestions for things to do. All amenities as described as well as plenty of books and games, as well as supplies for smores which was a fun touch! Good location across from the Secret Sandwich Society and a few minute walk from other shops and restaurants in town; and just a few minute drive to trails in New River Gorge. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and accommodating! ”

“Our cabin was extremely clean and cozy. It fit our two families of four well. We enjoyed the hot tub and the campfire, kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. The only issue we had was the can opener needed replaced! ”

“We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. “This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. It was walking distance to town and restaurants. The location is also great for hikes, rafting and the bridge. It was very clean and stocked well. We could not have asked for a better rental for our group and our needs! ”
