Colorado trip 2024

We enjoyed our stay overall. There were a few things that were not working but did not affect our time there. (Front porch light did not work. Tried changing bulb but it still did not work, patio screen did not stay in track and would not open properly) Overall, we enjoyed the cabin but mostly enjoyed our time with our grandkids!! Thank you for your hospitality.

Review

The coffee maker didn't work. 2 light bulbs in living room were burned-out. Ceiling fan in bedroom didn't work. The outside light in front wasn't working and the weren't very safe. It was advertised for 4 people but 2 adults couldn't sleep on the pull out sofa and weren't weren't allowed to use the loft.

Not what we expected at all

When we booked the property we did not know you had to check in by a certain time. We flew in from out of state and had to go straight to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding. When we left the venue, we were not able to check into the house because it was after 10 so we lost our first night. Then when we got to the property, we discovered it was a small place above a garage. It was described as holding 4 people but that is not the case. It reads there is a loft but upon arrival at the space, there is a sign on the table to not use the loft at all. The only bathroom is in the bedroom so if you need to use it in the middle of the night, you have to wake whoever is in the bedroom. Because the space is over a garage, you are literally right next to the house even though they talk about the acres you would be on. It was not at all what we expected from the description of the rental. Very disappointing.

Cabin was nice

The cabin was nice. A few tv issues but through text we got it working. Nice and quiet area. We saw deer most days. The cabin is across the drive from their house. From the Vrbo ad we thought it was out in the woods separate from the owners residence. Looks like quite a few houses have been built around them so that’s what you are looking at from the porch. The cabin it’s self was nice and had all we needed. Also looks like you have very few stairs in the ad, but you have to park below the cabin. It is built above a double car garage. So you have outside steps to go up. This was unhandy for us. I had 2 back surgeries this winter. So my 64 year old husband had to do all the carting of our belongings and he has some health issues. We did enjoy our stay and recommend this cabin to rent.

Visit to Colorado Springs

Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. It was an adorable cabin, well supplied, clean and nicely decorated. Management was responsive to questions and recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby was provided at the cabin. One suggestion, we didn’t receive the required agreement to sign until we were enroute to the cabin. Seems like this could have been handled in advance. We would definitely stay here again.

Snowed In for Spring Break

Owner was very accommodating to let us book an additional night at the beginning of our original booking due to a snow storm. Property was clean and compact. Goats were adorable and we enjoyed our stay.
