“The Settles is pretty awesome, but the town in this area looks like it has fallen on hard times...Abandoned looking. Parking around the building leaves a lot to be desired. I was on the 3rd floor and it seemed like some very noisy hot rod type cars liked cruising around on the street in front of the hotel, and it sounded like the window was open in my room. There is a bus depot about a block away with some interesting looking folks hanging around. My room was really nice...furnishings and……

“They didn’t close the door the washing machine area so it kept us up all night also the smoke detector was hanging off the wall ”

“Convenient location, reasonable price”

“Getting to property no good road. You can either take partially finished with gravel, or go by all the dumpsters. I-20 noise due to proximity. Difficult to get back on I-20 west.”

“King room we reserved, was located on the 5th flr. Ok, but the elevator was non-operational. I walk with a cane, 2 bags, no way. The hotel accommodated us by providing a handicap room w/2 double beds. Breakfast was good and we left happy. ”

“Very nice staff but whenever I would get my room serviced they would take my trash out and not replace the trash bags.”

“I know what to reasonably expect for hotels at this price level and we are very disappointed. There is no amenity except one bar soap. There is a coffee maker but no coffee nor tea. The worst is the towels. They are very old. The we found the bed sheet has stain and the pillows smells. This is close to unacceptable.”

“Easy access to Interstate 20, two cafes nearby who served breakfasts and other meals.”
