“This is my second stay the Hotel Settles and they didn’t disappoint. The kitchen is closed on Sunday nights, so we dined in the Pharmacy Bar and it was perfect. The staff was attentive and the food delicious (especially the crab & mozzarella arancini balls). We got to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant…I recommend the biscuits and gravy. The owner has restored the hotel to the original glory. My traveling party took a special route to make sure we stayed here…it’s a must see for anyone who……

“Room was newly renovated but the fridge was not replaced. The fridge was dirty, not cooling and smaller than pictured. The breakfast wasn’t as good as previous visits to other locations. The utensils were not restocked and they were out of knives. Disappointed with the offering of scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. Finally the designated smoking area was being used by the contractor renovating the rooms. Benches were covered in construction debris.”

“They have made poor decisions on breakfast. Removed biscuits and gravy or eggs and bacon or sausage. McDonalds serves better. Removed second waffle machine. This causes backup with people waiting in line. There was no creamer only milk or half and half. They used to serve flavored creamer. They moved breakfast to 6:30 a.m and that causes a rush when people are heading out for their work. For example they had sausage or a crousant sandwich with ham. Nothing to go with the sausage. 1 of……

“Clean room with comfortable beds and pillows at a reasonable rate. No frills. Would stay again for a good night's rest.”

“The room was very clean and maintained well. Air conditioning worked great and room was maintained well during my week. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“I know what to reasonably expect for hotels at this price level and we are very disappointed. There is no amenity except one bar soap. There is a coffee maker but no coffee nor tea. The worst is the towels. They are very old. The we found the bed sheet has stain and the pillows smells. This is close to unacceptable.”
