“We stayed in the lovely Conon Suite which is very light and roomy with two large sofas. Meals were tasty and generous portions. Staff were really friendly and the whole stay was very relaxed”

“Clean, small room. Flat pillows, thin walls-could hear the person next room snoring. Breakfast doesn’t start til 8 on weekends, so not useful for an early flight. It is close to the airport which is why I picked it”

“Clean, modern and great food”

“Very tired old property. When they showed us the room it first reminded me of one of the servant quarters in a recent historic house tour. We booked a classic double. The room was damp, full of dusty furniture and the bed mattress springs were gone. There was a tiny window with a view to nothing. We lasted 10 mins and left. The manager gave us lots of options, one being the same room type and the other being the front door with just an apology and no refund offered. First time I ever left a……

“We had seen mixed reviews about other people's stays and were a bit apprehensive about what to expect. We could NOT have had a more fantastic stay. Staff were extremely attentive and welcoming especially Veejay( the manager), Gary, Anne and Nadine. We are a family of 6 ( 3 adult couples) and it was the perfect highland base for exploring the area. Food was fresh and was made from scratch. Leave time for leisurely meals. Specially props for breakfast pancakes. Rooms were spacious and beds……

“The room was spacious and very nice, the bed was comfortable and we loved the coffee and tea station. We ate at the restaurant several times and they were always understaffed. The staff that were there were working very hard, but there were just too few. We waited at the hostess station for over 10 minutes before someone was able to seat us, then it took forever to order and get our food. The quality of the food was very average. But the location of the hotel was perfect for our activities.”

“Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. Breakfast was great with outlook over country side.”
