“The room was acceptable, the restaurant was fine, and most of the staff were pleasant (including the owner). The problem came when I asked for change for a 20 pound English note so I could leave a tip after I paid for dinner. The change I was given was Scottish currency. “This bed and breakfast is an absolute hidden gem. The room was beautifully presented with cute armchairs, good storage and comfortable beds. Helen was amazing - she provided tea and coffee in the room, her breakfast was absolutely divine and extremely well organised, and the location was within walking distance to the beach and the main town. “Jamie's B&B is the perfect place to stay for a break in Inverness. He is welcoming, relaxed and helpful with plenty of good travel tips. The highlight is the cosy breakfast for all three rooms where you meet your fellow guests round the table and chat. Rooms are comfortable and well stocked and Jamie is a very flexible host. The guide in the rooms says "you're on holiday so do things in your own time" and you're allowed to do that. Would definitely stay again if we revisited Inverness.”
