“We were three families with four children (age range from 14 months to 13 years) and two dogs. We think that Laurel Cottage is a super house - great for family gatherings. It is very well-equipped, especially the kitchen/utility room. It is clean, tidy and well-maintained. The garden is lovely (would have been even lovelier if the weather had allowed us to use it!). We found that it was a great base - all we wanted to do was within easy reach. I would thoroughly recommend it and would...

“Lovely accomadation, everything there for a stress free holiday. Would highly recommend. Location was a short walk to the beach. I cant think of anything you could do better. All good from booking to going home.”

“The space and layout of the house is amazing. Very good for a larger family of 6 adults. The dining room view was very beautiful. The whole house is very well presented and offers great natural light throughout the house. The swimming pool and outside area is fabulous. Our favourite place to be. Great hot tub and my daughter loved the swing seat in the garden nook The bedrooms were a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The modern decor throughout the house is very nice....

“Well-equipped, comfortable modern property with easy car parking. Fully equipped kitchen, Sky TV and strong wifi connection. Well- located for reaching the main destinations, but nowhere is far on the Isle of Wight. Bus stops nearby. Deck chairs provided in the cupboard under the stairs: ideal for sitting in the courtyard outside. Bed is extremely comfortable.”

“Very well equipped , clean and comfortable . A perfect base to explore the Isle of Wight . quiet location and very close to amenities.”

“Lovely, peaceful location in a modern well equipped lodge - ideal for a relaxing break. Location on the edge of the delightful village of Godshill well placed for our favourite destinations. Simeon was a most accommodating and friendly host eager to hear feedback for continuous improvement.”

“The cottage was very well-equipped, practical, well located and very comfortable beds. Everything worked and storage was great. Loved the nice bedding and towels! Nice that cleaning things and tea/coffee packets were there for arrival etc. We didn't miss anything we needed. Decor nice and lots of local information provided to help us plan and book trips out. The Island was lovely as ever loved Ventnor coastal hikes in both directions and really enjoyed the beaches at Bembridge and Appley! So...

“The property is amazing thank you, perfect for our holiday, everything we needed. Great facilities and beautiful decor.”

“It was clean and fully equipped for family self-service stay. Thank you. It would be nice to have an ensuite master bedroom (perhaps not applicable to this property now, but I will look out for one next time). Also, we would have preferred a lock on the master bedroom door. Otherwise, spot on!”

“We appreciated the property layout and the generous room sizes. Well equipped kitchen. Sufficient numbers of things for the capacity of the house such as crockery and seating. Well located for all that Sandown has to offer. Dining table seating in kitchen that includes the wall as a back rest is poor. We used it once and then used the outside furniture. A padded panel may help. Accepting that we have parental responsibility, we couldn't fully relax in the garden with a three year old...

“We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage and would definitely book again! From the moment we arrived, it felt so homely, cosy and welcoming. The decor was lovely, the beds were really comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was particularly well equipped, with all the utensils and equipment you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely and clean, with a lovely shower over the bath . The TV had a huge choice of streaming services to log...

“The property is spacious and is well placed for access to the town. However we found the lack of parking to be an added anxiety at the end of the day. Although told we could park in Co-op the signs said it closed with the shop at 8pm so we didn't risk it.Also the windows were extremely hard to open and close and didn't provide any noise reduction from the the very busy road. Buses ran until midnight and glazier and Co-op were both un/loading by 7am.We also had a ring doorbell go at 8.30 on 2...
