"We had a fantastic experience at the accommodation with booking number 6041892 in Corsica! The location at the top of the mountain provided a stunning view of the bay below. The house was truly modern and offered every possible luxury one could imagine, with a bathroom for each bedroom and an additional separate toilet. "We spent over a week in the house and could really relax. The house was quiet, clean and we had everything we needed (kitchen, washing machine etc.). We spent most of our time at the pool. The location is not directly by the sea but you are completely alone and undisturbed. You can be by the sea or at a large supermarket in five minutes. The owner Marc was very helpful and easy going. "We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely friendly owners and the 3 bedroom, two bathroom accommodation was perfect for us. Vardiola beach was just a short walk away - quite a charming and quiet beach and lovely to have close by. Our favourite beach was Pinarello. It is possible to walk to this beach from Vardiola along the coast, but it takes a little while, so we preferred to drive there and park on the southern side of Pinarello beach. The accommodation is an amazing base to tour the south east of Corsica. The property's shared swimming pool is pristine condition, relaxing and quiet. There are lovely views of the mountains from the property and the gardens are also kept really well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There are 2 or 3 restaurants within 5 minutes drive and a Super U supermarket only a short drive away too. Just for awareness the property we had contained one air conditioning unit in the kitchen. This was the sole unit for the entire property. It was fine, but still reasonably warm in the bedrooms given it was August. The owners really were delightful and helpful. One day we hope to return."

"Although clean (and the bed comfortable), the main problem with my room was a terrible stench that seemed to emerge from the direction of the air conditioner and which lingered in the room despite airing it. I thought at first this was a result of seaside heat and humidity, so I didn't report the smell. A few days later, when I opened the safe the day before my departure, my passport and other valuables were wet. That is when I realized that the nasty odor was due to chronic leaking of the AC and the water dripping and seeping into the closet and woodwork right under the AC, including the metal safe attached to the wall of the closet!! I had an early departure the day after, so I didn't have time to complain, but other reviews have reported similar bad smells, and if AC leaks are also the problem, then something needs to be done. You don't want people's valuables and passports to get wet inside the safe that's meant to protect them. On the upside, the hotel provides a shuttle service (a "navette") to and from the Ajaccio airport, which is convenient. Also, you can take the beach shuttle right outside the hotel, which will get you to various beaches in the "Rive Sud." "

"We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this beautiful villa. The view from the pool area is spectacular and we spent many lazy hours relaxing by the pool or in the hot tub. The villa is decorated and fitted out to a very high standard with a modern kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely shaded eating area on the terrace. The beach is a short walk away (if you don’t mind a steep walk home which we didn’t) or a 2 minute drive with easy parking. We would recommend the bar and restaurant at the beach too. Christelle is a warm and welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed days out to Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio, and had a great time on the water on small boats from Pinarellu. We would highly recommend a holiday at this fantastic property. "

"Absolutely beautiful property!! Wonderful, accommodating staff. Clean, comfortable room. We had a pool/ocean view. The location of this hotel is residential so it was very quiet and peaceful. The landscaping in stunning an makes the hotel feel as if it was placed right into the natural surroundings of trees & plants. We used the pool/hot tub and sauna. The small size of this hotels allow you to feel pampered and well attended to. Highly recommend! "

"Hotel Motel Porticcio has a unique layout with reception, some rooms and breakfast facilities, free parking in the building close to the promenade with a wide choice of restaurants, bars and bakeries along the length of the beautiful beach. The Hotel Porticcio then has 3 more small buildings of modern apartments spaced on the slope behind, each with own free parking for the guests. As a couple with our small dog with us we were upgraded to a studio apartment in the 4th block with its own fenced, small terrace and garden with sea view which was perfect. We could walk less than 100 metres to the main building to be warmly welcomed by Stephanie who served us a fresh continental breakfast indoors, as mornings were a bit cooler mid-end September. In summer it is served in a pleasant roofed area outdoors. Les Chênes is a quiet private road to only a few properties. The studio had a kitchenette area with double ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. I wasn't planning on cooking this holiday but it was great to be able to have hot or cold drinks and snacks. The bed was very comfortable and clean. There's a small wardrobe, with shelves and drawers. A dining table 2 chairs plus outside a small patio table, chairs, sunbed and airer for drying beachwear and towels. The bathroom was very good and clean with handbasin, shower cubicle and w.c. Gemma, the receptionist was always cheerful and helpful and any other staff and the owner friendly too. No wonder this is a busy hotel without crowds."
