“Beyond my expectations!”

“I guess it just had a bad experience, late check-in was a nightmare? They respond like 1.5 hours later after a bunch of calls, the main problem was the A/C was broken and in summer our room was a steam room. The carpet smelled and was all stained. They just need to upgrade the hotel. Too bad.”

“Very clean hotel and attentive staff. Continental breakfast was excellent. Had problem with our tv remote and they took care of it asap. Will definitely stay here again.”

“We might have just come during a time when they were understaffed, but the day we checked out it was impossible to find a single employee to help us. We didn't need the breakfast but wanted a cup of coffee before we headed out and had some other questions and we went to the front desk multiple times, even walked into the dining room, and never saw an employee. There was a sign on the table where they clearly usually have coffee but it was never actually there. Overall it was an easy place to……

“The location of the hotel is the best thing the hotel has going for it. However, the facility is worn out and has not been maintained. Carpet is worn out and dirty. Rooms are dark, furnishings are worn and dated, no attention to details (back on TV remote missing). WiFi inconsistent and addressing the issue not possible until the next day. Landscaping overgrown making walking to facilities a challenge. Sealed double pane windows have lost seals and are frosted over. I hope the owners will……

“Clean room. We stayed in a "cabin", which has 4 apartments in it. Older property. Could use updating. Very clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Grounds were lovely.”

“We always wanted to stay here and now we have! The views and campus were absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was quaint but not sure worth the luxury price. Air conditioner was a little loud which I guess helped quiet the talking at the bar since our room was close to it. Ice machine was outside and there is no elevator if you are older and need that. (My husband and I were ok on the second look though.) Overall we had a really good time … just don’t know if we’d pay the……

“Loved the Hemlock Inn! Quiet location but close to shops & cafes. Clean room & bathroom. Wonderful gazebo to enjoy the lovely flowers.”
