“Very friendly host, was on top of everything. Made our stay feel right at home. ”

“The breakfast was continental, tea, toast, coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurt and delicious overnight oats. We do like a cooked breakfast though so this is a mark down for us. The room was beautiful and clean with tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and mints which was a nice touch. There were small shower gels in the bathroom and a lovely rain shower. “Do not stay here! The bathtub was falling apart, there are stains all over the ceiling and the place looks like it's going to fall apart. Cracks in the ceiling and barely any hot water. Luckily we were only here to sleep for one night but it was one of the worst stays. Not to mention extremely over priced. No amenities in the room. 12 inch tv and sagging beds with bad smelly scratchy sheets. There were 4 of us and we only had 3 towels and there is no staff to get towels from. No rest due to how……

“The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.”
