“I want to live here. I love the location, walking out to the fire pit seating area, the house decor, deck, and comfy beds. Proximity to town as well as Quoddy Head hiking trails. Good distance for day trips to Acadia and other lovely Maine spots. Catherine responded quickly to every message I sent. Smooth check in process too. I hope to stay here again and again.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely house. There was plenty of room to relax. The heated in ground salt water pool was a great spot to unwind at the end of the day. We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! We hope to rent again next year!”

“My family and I were looking for a true down east Maine getaway without dealing with tourist traps and large crowds. This was such a wonderful way to do it. The property is as described. The views and sunsets are picturesque. Sandy and Charlie are incredible people who made our stay perfect. The town is geographically located near numerous outdoor excursions and hikes. “The house was located in a beautiful spot in Downeast Maine. The house was truly better than the pictures on the site! It was immaculate and decorated beautifully! it was generously supplied with all you could need and more. There were beautiful views from the many large windows. I loved all the gorgeous plants throughout the house. I took several walks around the neighborhood to view the many inlets and changing coastline ....so beautiful !!! The property manager was great at communicating...

“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

“9 of us came from out of the country to shoot some photos of the stars out near Acadia National Park; Connie's house was lovely and a good place to call home base. Only thing we were not too keen on were the sleeping situations, as some of us had to double up on the beds, but the listing says that 11 are able to sleep comfortably. A more accurate listing of the available beds would be ideal, but it was only a minor inconvenience that we worked through. Connie was very helpful and eager to help,...

“A lovely property with a homey feel and an amazing view. It was well stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals even a large pot for lobster boils. We appreciated it was only 3 steps to get in the house with bathroom grab bars for toilets and showers. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs but for family members with limited mobility, all the common areas are on the ground floor with just one small step down to get on the deck. We will definitely stay there again.”
