“Delightful surroundings, beautifull barn conversion furnished to a high standard. great place to stay- v close to Bakewell. Did an 8 mile circular walk from the barn through Lathkill dale and surrounding villages. Would recommend”

“Our family of 5 (13,16,16, 2-adults) had a great experience! Dave and Cath we VERY responsive to all questions, and the home was perfect. They live on a great hobby farm with lots of animals to see. Perfect 5min walk to a cute small town including: grocery, meat market, coffee, and great shopping, great views, excellent hospitality (and the farm fresh eggs and brownies we delish!). For the golfers, there’s even an excellent 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away! Don’t miss out on this rental!”

“The cottage is spacious, especially the kitchen diner, and is well equipped. The family bathroom is really big but the en-suite shower room is minuscule. The B5057 that runs next to the cottage is a surprisingly busy road, though there is good double glazing throughout the house which cuts out most of the noice. The Three Stags pub in the village serves great food.”

“We stayed in the house for a week with 6 kids aged 10 months to 12 years. The house itself was amazing with loads of space and activities for the whole family. The house is situated in a perfect location, close enough to walk into the town centre to take advantage of local parks, shops and bars/restaurants as well as being in the heart of the Peak District. For large families looking for a great place to get away together, I would strongly recommend this house.”
