“It was a lovely place, with rooms spread between several buildings. A block from the trolly to downtown. Much more relaxed than a large hotel”

“Great location! Clean, well-equipped, open and spacious apartment. We got a premium one. It was a corner apartment, so we enjoyed a lot of natural light. Cookies in the room were an unexpected and tasty treat! It was a bit noisy at night, but the white noise machine took care of that nicely. Smart touch. We plan to return some day. :)”

“It was such a unique hotel. Every room is different. Not like your standard hotel. It was a step back in time, would love to go back. The beds were comfy, the staff were great.”

“Pretty standard hotel, the suite was very big and clean, had a microwave and fridge, bed was comfy, basic bathroom, also very big, if a bit dated. Price was a bit higher than I think this spot was worth but it was overall fine and no big complaints. When I arrived their systems were down but they'd carefully printed all guests information and seemed to be handling the situation alright but they had lots of staff on duty even at 9/10pm. The parking was $50/ day for just an open air lot. I could……

“We had a great stay at Trumbull and Porter. We were immediately greeted by friendly, helpful staff, and the hotel is immaculate. Very cool lobby, and although the weather didn't cooperate, the outdoor areas looked very nice. My room was clean and spacious, and unlike a lot of the chain hotels, very quiet. Walking distance to a local brew pub and several great coffee shops. Fantastic place, and I'll stay there the next time I swing through Detroit.”

“Everything was fine. Great room!!! Bed was great. Staff was very friendly. We found the walk to Tiger stadium was a little too far…we are 74 years old. So take that into consideration. ”
