"We loved the history displayed in the hotel. The room was nice and large. The bed was very comfortable. The only drawback had nothing to do with the hotel. As my husband was going to our car that morning, 2 guys tried to hustle/scare/intimidate him. Be very aware of the outside surroundings."

"The room wasn't ready when we arrived. Even after talking to the manager, nothing was done to our room unless I told the person at the counter. I even told the staff what we needed on the 2nd day and that wasn't done. Piss poor attitudes and worse work ethic. By far the WORST Holiday inn express I have stayed at."

"The first surprising fact was that there is no elevator...what modern day motels with more than a ground floor have no elevator?! That put a question in my mind about the place. First appearances when going in were not very positive; not real clean and neat. After making our way upstairs and into the room a horrible mold/mildew smell hit us. All those first impressions seemed rather discouraging...but, after more time, it wasn't as bad as I thought. The floors and paint have been redone fairly recently and still nice. The bathroom fixtures, in our room, anyway, need replacing...very worn out. The bed was comfortable and clean, air conditioner works quite well, the breakfast is very basic "continental", but enough. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. There's the good and the bad, as with anything."
